Holiday Reflections
The Holidays are upon us,
The lights are all aglow.
So many people seem merry,
But for some it’s just a show.
The Holidays can be hard
And for some it’s just the worst.
Too many loved ones gone
For them to feel the joy at all.
As this year comes to an end,
Sit back and take some time.
Remember all the good times
With those who left us behind.
Keep in mind it’s not the end
It’s just a wrinkle in time.
We’ll all be together again
Restitching the ties that bind.
