Poem of the Week, November 2, 2025

Stillness Speaks

The world slows down, the noise grows thin,

And whispers bloom from deep within.

No need to chase what fades away,

The truth you seek begins today.

The mirror holds not just your face,

But every trial that shaped your grace.

The lines, the scars, the tender eyes,

Each one a map to where strength lies.

You’ve learned that peace is not a prize,

But something gentle, realized.

It lives in pauses, breath, and care,

In moments simply choosing there.

No storm can steal what roots have grown,

Nor dim the light that’s always shown.

The past may ache, the future call,

But here and now can hold it all.

In still reflection’s quiet hue,

You find the best of what is true.

You are becoming, day by day,

A soul refined in its own way.

So lift your heart, and softly see,

The beauty born of simply being free.

No need to search for grand disguise,

Your spirit shines, and never dies.
